Entertaiment
A broad field of activity, which includes anything that provides pleasure. Entertainment can be provided on a personal scale, such as choosing a television programme for viewing; to a social gathering of any size, with appropriate music and dance; to the performance of plays or ceremonies, at an official function, a religious festival, or as satire.
Entertaining activities may be regarded as amusement, but they often have a deeper purpose, such as the edification of moral values. They can also stimulate the brain, causing it to realease seratonin or dopamine. They are usually passive activities, and require consumer participation.
